Websites for dog trainers

Dog trainer websites that show owners you can fix their dog

A dog training website has two jobs: get the puppy owner booked into a class in a few taps, and give the worried owner of a difficult dog enough confidence to call you. We design for both, mobile-first, with SEO and tracking built in.

Two very different owners land on a dog training website

The first has a new puppy and a busy week. They want to know when the next class starts, what it costs, where it is held and how to book. They are on a phone and will book with whoever makes that easiest.

The second has a dog that lunges at other dogs, guards food or has started to snap. They are worried and a little embarrassed. They will read about your method, look for cases like theirs, watch videos and check whether you seem calm and experienced before they reach out.

Most training websites serve neither well. They lead with a long story, bury the class schedule and describe every program on one page. A good dog trainer website routes each owner to what they need within seconds.

What we build into a dog trainer website

Each piece is here because it changes whether an owner books, calls or keeps scrolling.

01

A clear path for each owner

A homepage that sends puppy owners to classes and owners of problem dogs to behavior help, with your phone number and a booking button in reach on every screen.

02

A page per program

Puppy classes, group obedience, private lessons, behavior modification, board-and-train and specialty work. Each one ranks and converts better than a single combined Services page.

03

Board-and-train pages that sell

What a day looks like for the dog, where they stay, how you communicate progress, what is included and what affects the price. These are the pages that win the largest programs.

04

Trust that dog owners actually need

Your training approach explained honestly, certifications and experience, real photos and videos of your dogs and clients, and reviews that mention the problem solved. Stock photos of perfect dogs do the opposite.

05

Schedule and location made obvious

Class times, locations and the areas you travel to for in-home sessions, stated plainly. An owner should not have to email you to find out when the next puppy class starts.

06

Online booking that fills classes

Class registration and evaluation booking connected to your real schedule, with payments or deposits if you want them, not a form that sits in an inbox until the weekend.

07

Fast on a phone

Most owners visit on mobile, often while walking the dog. Pages built light and fast load before they give up, including video.

08

Tracking from launch

Calls, forms, bookings and class registrations tracked from day one, so you can see which pages and sources produce clients.

Rebuild your training website, or fix what you have?

Not every training business needs a new site, and we will say so when you do not.

Usually time to rebuild

Pages load slowly on a phone or the class schedule is hard to find
All your programs sit on a single page
Only the person who built it years ago can change the schedule
Ads are sending traffic to the homepage because there is nowhere better

Usually fixable without a rebuild

The layout works but booking a class takes too many steps
Forms ask for too much before an owner can submit
Program pages exist but say very little
Owners book through it but nothing is tracked

If ads need somewhere to land before the new site is ready, one campaign landing page can carry that traffic for now. Our general web design service covers how we build across industries.

Built to work with your ads and your SEO

A training website is where your Google Ads, social posts and organic rankings all send owners. If it does not convert, every other channel costs more than it should.

We structure the site so each campaign has a matching page to land on, and so each program page can rank on its own. That is why dog training SEO and Google Ads for dog trainers both perform better on a training site built this way.

Dog training website pricing

Priced as one-time builds in USD. Only the Pro tier has a monthly fee, which covers ongoing maintenance.

01

Starter — $1,500 to $2,500

One to five pages, one service-area page, basic on-page SEO and a contact form. Right for a solo trainer who needs a credible, fast site.

02

Growth — $3,000 to $4,500

Six to ten pages, three to five service-area pages, structured data, CRM-integrated forms and a review widget.

03

Pro — $5,000 to $7,500

A fully custom site for larger schools or several locations, with as many area pages as you need and a layout built around bookings, plus $200 to $300 a month for maintenance.

Dog trainer website questions

Plain answers for trainers. Call us if your question is not here.

01How much does a dog training website cost?

Our builds run $1,500 to $2,500 for a smaller site, $3,000 to $4,500 for a ten-page site with service-area pages and CRM-integrated forms, and $5,000 to $7,500 for a full custom build. The right tier depends on how many programs and locations you need to cover.

02What pages should a dog trainer website have?

At minimum: a homepage that routes puppy owners and behavior cases, a page for each program, a class schedule, an about page with your method and credentials, reviews and a contact or booking page. Behavior and board-and-train pages deserve extra effort because they win the largest programs.

03Should I show prices on my dog training website?

Showing class prices is almost always worth it. For private and board-and-train programs, at least explain packages and what affects the price. Hiding the topic completely tends to cost you serious buyers.

04Will a new website hurt my rankings?

Not if old URLs are redirected properly and the new pages are at least as good. That redirect step is the most commonly botched part of a rebuild, so we map every existing URL before launch.

05Can owners book classes online?

Yes, and they should be able to. Registration that connects to your real class roster, with payment if you choose, removes the back-and-forth that loses puppy owners to the next trainer.

06How long does a dog training website take to build?

Typically several weeks, depending on the tier. Gathering photos, videos and approving copy is usually the longest part, so we start on it in the first week.
