THE NUMBER THAT MATTERS
1.6s

average mobile load time on the sites we ship

STARTING AT
$1,500 one-time

Most HVAC sites are organized around the company, not the emergency

The visitor whose AC just quit is on a phone, in a hot house, with about eight seconds of patience. They need to know you fix what they have, that you cover their town, whether you come today, and how to reach you right now. Company history and a rotating hero carousel answer none of it.

The invisible failure is speed and structure. An eight-year-old site loading in eleven seconds with no schema markup and one generic "Services" page caps everything else you pay for, because both your ads and your SEO land on it.

How we run HVAC Web Design

Emergency path first, everything else second

Phone number in the header, a fixed call bar on mobile, same-day availability stated plainly, and a form short enough to finish standing in a hallway. Name, phone, heating or cooling — that is enough to dispatch.

A page per system and per city

AC repair, AC install, furnace repair, heat pumps, ductless, IAQ, commercial, maintenance plans — each its own page so Google and a homeowner can both tell what you do. City pages written with local specifics, not templated.

Financing and plans made obvious

Monthly payment ranges and plan pricing up front. Hiding them costs you the buyer who was going to finance, and answering the money question early is what earns the call.

Online booking and technical SEO from day one

Book-a-slot integrated with your dispatch, plus schema markup, sitemaps, sub-two-second mobile load and every old URL redirected before launch.

Run this on your HVAC account

We will audit what you have now and tell you what we would change first — before you pay anything.

WHAT WE CAN SHOW YOU
$2.73M
roofing contracts, 94 jobs, 8 months

A homeowner sweating in a hallway has about eight seconds of patience, and an eleven-second load spends all of it. We don’t have a published HVAC screenshot yet, so here is what we can show: a roofing contractor at 94 signed jobs from paid search and follow-up, and legal paid search at $53.78 per conversion. Same method, different vertical.

What goes into an HVAC website that generates calls

A brochure site and a lead-generation site can look equally smart. The difference is structural, and it is mostly decided before any design work starts.

01

Mobile-first, not mobile-friendly

Most HVAC traffic arrives on a phone, often from someone standing next to a unit that has stopped working. We design at phone width first and let the desktop layout follow, rather than shrinking a desktop site down and hoping.

02

Click-to-call in reach on every screen

Number in the header, a fixed call bar that does not scroll away, and tap targets big enough to hit without zooming. A meaningful share of emergency HVAC buyers will never fill in a form.

03

A page per service, not one Services page

Repair, replacement, maintenance plans, indoor air quality, ductless, commercial. Each gets its own page because each is a different search with a different buyer, and one combined page ranks for none of them well.

04

Service-area pages that say something

A page per market you actually serve, written with local detail rather than the city name swapped into a template. Done badly this is a liability; done properly it is how you appear in searches outside your immediate postcode.

05

Booking that writes to real dispatch

If you can absorb it, online booking captures the buyer who will not phone at 9pm. It has to write into your actual schedule — a booking form that emails the office is worse than no booking at all.

06

Financing and plan pricing visible

Hiding the money question costs you the buyer who was going to finance. Stating monthly ranges up front is what earns the call from a replacement shopper.

07

Technical SEO from the first build

Schema markup, clean heading structure, sitemaps, compressed imagery and a sub-two-second mobile load. Retrofitting this later costs more than doing it once.

08

Every old URL redirected

The single most commonly botched part of an HVAC rebuild. We map existing URLs before launch and watch indexing for thirty days after, so a new site does not cost you the rankings the old one earned.

Rebuild, or fix what you have?

Not every HVAC company needs a new website, and we will tell you when you do not. Three rough tests:

Rebuild

The site is more than four or five years old, loads slowly on a phone, has one combined Services page, or was built on a platform nobody can edit. At that point patching costs more than starting again.

Fix in place

The structure is sound and it converts, but the forms are too long or contact is buried. Those are cheap changes and we would rather make them than sell you a rebuild.

Add a landing page instead

You need something live before a season starts and a full build will not land in time. A single campaign landing page gets paid traffic converting now, with the site rebuilt behind it.

A site is also only one lane. If leads are arriving and going unanswered, follow-up automation will move your close rate faster than a redesign will. If nobody is arriving at all, that is an HVAC SEO or HVAC Google Ads problem, and a new website will not fix it.

HVAC Web Design pricing

Web design is a one-time build, not a retainer. What moves the number is page count, how many service-area pages you need, and whether the layout is templated or built around conversion from scratch. Only the Pro tier carries ongoing maintenance, and that is optional.

HVAC is competitive enough that the honest answer changes by city. One call is usually enough to size it.

A website is the asset every other channel feeds. HVAC SEO needs the service and location page structure to rank, and HVAC Google Ads needs somewhere that converts to send clicks. Pair it with HVAC CRM so form fills get answered in minutes, or the AI Appointment Engine to book them automatically. Full programme: HVAC marketing.

HVAC Web Design questions

Straight answers. Anything not covered here, ask on the phone.

01How much does an HVAC website cost?

Ours run $1,500 to $2,500 for a five-page site, $3,000 to $4,500 for a ten-page build with service-area pages and CRM-integrated forms, and $5,000 to $7,500 for a full custom conversion-focused build. Below about $1,000 anywhere you are getting a template with a logo dropped in.

02Will I lose my Google rankings when the new site launches?

Not if redirects are mapped properly, which is the single most commonly botched part of a rebuild. We map every existing URL before launch and monitor indexing for thirty days after.

03How long does an HVAC site take to build?

Six to ten weeks. Gathering photos and approving copy is the usual bottleneck, so we start that in week one rather than at the end. If you need something live before a season starts, we build a landing page first and the full site behind it.

04Should the site include online booking?

If your dispatch can absorb it, yes — a meaningful share of younger homeowners will book a slot at 11pm rather than call. It has to write into your real schedule, though; a booking form that emails the office is worse than no booking at all.

05Can I edit the site myself afterward?

Yes. Everything editable is built to be edited without touching code, hosting stays in your name, and we train your team before launch.
