Restaurant websites built for someone deciding where to eat
A restaurant website has two jobs: get the hungry diner to the menu, an order or a booking in seconds, and give the event or catering planner enough confidence to send an inquiry. We design for both, mobile-first, with SEO and tracking built in.
Two very different visitors land on a restaurant website
The first is hungry right now. They want to see the menu, the prices, whether you are open, where you are and how to order or book. They are on a phone, often walking or in a car, and they will leave if the menu does not load in a few seconds.
The second is planning. An office manager organising a team lunch, someone hosting a rehearsal dinner, a family planning a birthday. They want capacity, sample menus, minimums and a way to ask questions, and they are comparing several places.
Most restaurant websites serve neither well. They open with a slow video, hide the menu in a PDF and bury catering in one line at the bottom. A good restaurant website routes each visitor to what they need within seconds.
What we build into a restaurant website
Each piece is here because it changes whether a diner orders, books or goes somewhere else.
Menu, hours and location above the fold
The menu, today’s hours, the address and buttons to order, book or call, visible without scrolling on a phone.
A real text menu
Dishes, descriptions, prices and dietary notes as text with photos, easy for you to update and easy for Google to read. Downloadable PDF optional.
Catering and event pages that sell
Sample menus, packages, minimums, capacity, photos of the space and a short inquiry form. These pages win the largest orders you take.
Trust that diners actually need
Real photos of your dishes, your room and your team, recent reviews and your story told briefly. Generic stock food photos make a restaurant look like everyone else.
Direct ordering and reservations
Online ordering on your own site and reservation links built in, so regulars stop paying app commissions to order from you.
Easy updates
Menu changes, specials, holiday hours and events you can update yourself in minutes, without calling a developer.
Fast on a phone
Diners usually browse on a phone, often with patchy signal on the street or in a car. We compress food photos and keep pages light so the menu shows almost instantly.
Tracking from launch
From launch day we record orders, reservations, calls and catering requests, so it is clear which pages and channels bring in money.
Rebuild your restaurant website, or fix what you have?
Plenty of restaurant sites only need targeted fixes, and we will tell you if yours is one of them.
Usually time to rebuild
Usually fixable without a rebuild
While a full rebuild is underway, a single campaign landing page can take your ad traffic straight to ordering or catering. Our general web design service covers how we build across industries.
Built to work with your ads and your SEO
A restaurant website is where your Google profile, ads and social posts all send people. If it does not turn visits into orders and bookings, every other channel costs more than it should.
We structure the site so each campaign has a matching page to land on, and so your menu, catering and event pages can each rank on their own. That is why restaurant SEO and Google Ads for restaurants both perform better on a restaurant site built this way.
Restaurant website pricing
Every build is a single upfront price in USD. The Pro tier adds a monthly maintenance fee; the others do not.
Starter — $1,500 to $2,500
One to five pages, a text menu, basic on-page SEO and a contact form. Right for a single location that needs a credible, fast site.
Growth — $3,000 to $4,500
Six to ten pages, catering and event pages, structured data, inquiry forms connected to your CRM and a review widget.
Pro — $5,000 to $7,500
A full custom build with multiple locations or concepts and a conversion-focused layout, plus $200 to $300 a month for maintenance.
We look at it on a phone the way a hungry diner would, then list what we would change first, even if that list is short.
Restaurant website questions
Plain answers for restaurant owners. Call us if your question is not here.
01How much does a restaurant website cost?
Our builds run $1,500 to $2,500 for a smaller site, $3,000 to $4,500 for a ten-page site with catering and event pages and CRM-integrated forms, and $5,000 to $7,500 for a full custom build. The right tier depends on your locations and revenue streams.
02What pages should a restaurant website have?
At minimum: a homepage with menu, hours, location and order or booking buttons, a full text menu, catering and private event pages if you offer them, an about page and a contact page. Catering and event pages deserve extra effort because they win the largest orders.
03Should I use my own online ordering or delivery apps?
Both have a place. Apps can bring in new customers, but your own ordering keeps more of each order and the customer details. Most restaurants benefit from offering direct ordering on their site and promoting it to regulars.
04Will a new website hurt my rankings?
Not when every old address, including menu and catering pages, points to its new home and the new pages are as good or better. We list every current URL before launch so none of them break.
05Can I update the menu myself?
Yes. We build menus so you can change dishes, prices, specials and holiday hours yourself in a few minutes, which keeps Google and your guests seeing accurate information.
06How long does a restaurant website take to build?
Usually a few weeks. Photographing dishes and finalising the menu tends to take longest, so we book the photo day and collect the menu in week one.
